Artemus Shurmer 1906-1982 and BSA motorcycle This photograph was taken in Faringdon about 1930. The person on the pillion is unknown.

The motorcycle is a BSA round tank 250 cc produced from 1924 to 1927. Artemus would probably have obtained it second hand.
