James Seary is missing from the 1851 and 1865 censuses, but his wife and children are recorded as living in Ock Street, Abingdon.

In 1881 James and Sarah with son James (1875) and granddaughter Katherine (1867) were recorded living at 10 Northcourt Road, Abingdon St Helen, Berkshire. This is near the home of another son, Thomas SEARY (1845), which was also in Abingdon St Helen.
