The witness Sarah SEAREY will be Frederick's sister.

CHILDREN (OF MARRIAGE 1)

In the 1841 census for Faringdon, Frederick and Clara were recorded living at Market Place with their first son William. Frederick's occupation is given as agricultural labourer.

In the baptismal records for the children of Clara and Frederick, Frederick's occupation is usually given as milkman.

Faringdon PRs: 30 Aug 1873 marr. of Thomas POUND, 25, bat, carpenter, of Swindon, s. of Jonathan POUND, carpenter, to Clara SEAREY [sic], 28, spin, of GF, d. of Frederick SEAREY, milkman. Witnesses Robert PETTIFER and Sarah Ann SEAREY.

Robert PETTIFER may have been a cousin of Clara as her aunt Sarah SEARY 1819 had married a George PETTIFER in 1840.

Only the mother's name is mentioned in the baptismal record, so possibly Frederick had died.

Blanche SEARY (also known as SEAREY) 1851

Faringdon PRs: 12 August 1867 marr. of Joseph TAYLOR, 21, bat, lawyer's clerk, of Christchurch in Surrey, s. of Joseph TAYLOR, gentleman, to Blanche SEAREY [sic], 16, spin, of GF. Witnesses Alfred RIPPON and Clara SEAREY.

Although there is nothing to directly link Blanche to her presumed parents, the witness at her marriage was probably her elder sister. Blanche may have been born after her father Frederick SEARY had died.
