NOTES ON MARRIAGE (2)

At the time of the marriage William was about 42 and Sarah not quite 22. They are recorded together in the 1841 census, but William is recorded without Sarah in 1851.

Sarah is recorded as a widow in the 1881 census for Abingdon workhouse. It is possible that Sarah was linked to John PARKER (b. 27 November 1804 Little Coxwell, bap. 9 December 1804 Little Coxwell) who was also recorded as an inmate of Abingdon Workhouse in the 1881 census.
