This record appears on the IGI. The Faringdon Parish records have not been checked. There is no entry in the Little Coxwell transcripts.

The surnames names below have different spellings in the Little Coxwell PR transcripts. This may only indicate the names were recorded by a different Little Coxwell Parish Clerk with a scantier grasp of standardised spelling. The Faringdon baptismal records, which were presumably copied from the Little Coxwell originals, show the standard spelling HAWKINS which may indicate the Faringdon clerk was correcting what he believed to be wrong.

The possibility the children were the product of different parents is very unlikely. Francis (1717) was probably named after his maternal grandfather, Francis WEBB.
