Stanford-in-the-Vale
HENRY HAWKINS & JONE
Henry was a miller at Stanford, inheriting the mills from his father Michell HAWKINES.
The other major beneficiary, his brother John, died in 1671 so he would have been the sole inheritor of all his father's property.
His father, Michell, and his grandfather, William, had a connection with Little Coxwell, being appointed
overseers [executors] in the will of Michaell Hallidaye of Little Coxwell dated 13 November 1600.

Often the first child was born in the wife's home parish.
This may have been the case with Lettes. If she was the first born, she would have been about 24 at the time of her marriage.
