WILLIAM HAWKINES & MARGERY

William was a miller at Stanford-in-the-Vale. He must have had connections with Little Coxwell as he and his son Michell were appointed overseers of the will of Michaell HALLIDAYE of Little Coxwell dated 13 November 1600. William and Michell were recorded as "my very loving friends".

Michaell Hallidaye held land in the area and was suficiently well off to employ at least one servant (who is mentioned in the will).
